National Coal Mine Museum

Location of Coal Mines in England

We enjoyed our visit to the National Coal Mining Museum.  The coal miners worked so hard for very little pay.
My appreciation for their sacrifices increased as we went below and saw where they worked day after day.

Leeds Museum

The Allen's and Wilson's take an adventure to the Leeds Museum.

Between 1790-1830, Leeds had poor living conditions as stated above.

A new and Exact Plan of the Town of Leeds
St. Peter's Church is in the right hand corner.

I loved the quote on this plate.
The loss of gold is great,
The loss of health is more,
But losing Christ is such a loss
As no man can restore.

Outside the Leeds Museum on the Millennium Square was this fun
winter theme park which included ice skating.
